How to Prove Your Connection is Secure
When Accessing Your PC From a Web Browser
The first thing you'll need is your Certificate
Fingerprint
(or Thumbprint). If you already have this, skip to
Step 2
. Otherwise, open the certificate on your PC and locate the value as shown below.
(If using
MF327 Private Cloud
, just click the
Quick Start
button and your fingerprint(s) will be at the bottom.)
Once you have your Fingerprint, connect to your PC by typing the URL into your web browser. You should see a security warning because the certificate is not trusted by your browser. This is normal when accessing a
private
computer.

If any are a match, your connection is secure.
